RIO = NO, SO??

Can’t say I’m losing any sleep over Rio Ferdinand missing the tournament. Fair enough, he was once a decent centre half, but those days are sadly gone. He had no real action the last season and what we saw of him in the last two warm up games only makes me think that for once, Emile Heskey actually did us all a favour and forced Capello’s hand. So good riddance really. The only footballer with a bigger chip on his shoulder than Rio is his despicable brother Anton, and he’s always been shit. Now you’re joining him on the scrapheap Rio, your days are numbered so lets see how arrogant you are now once Fergie inevitably casts you aside.

I love the way the London press are assuming Ledley King will replace him. Sure, for me King is a worthy successor, but again, he hardly filled me with confidence in the Mexico game either. I’d say it’s 50/50 who gets the nod to partner Terry between King and Carragher. And Terry shouldn’t be guaranteed anything anyway. I’m fed up of that c*** and his immunity to on the field antics – I refer of course to constant hounding of referee’s, not to mention what was by far the worst ‘tackle’ of last season at Wembley, which the Howard the Coward chose to ignore – don’t even get me started on him…and he is our refereeing representative!

How about this; partner King and Dawson in the middle. They’re there on merit, are in form and immediately have a good understanding, which was the one thing Terry and Rio had going for them.

"You're a cunt Webb"

"Yeah? Well at least I'm going to the World Cup unlike you and your bro, you useless, arrogant piece of shit"

  1. (Nice picture).I think I agree with you about Rio, but what about Roonie losing his rag - could this be the start of something big or are the press blagging about nothing as usual?

  2. The problem "Roonie" (sic) faces is although he has worked hard to clean up his image on the field over here, he still has a reputation on the continent as a hot-head and because of that, the opposition will be looking to exploit this and wind him up. The referees (if they're anything like the one we had against Portugal) will be looking to send him off, so he really has to be whiter than white. Rooney wears his heart on his sleeve and if he's having a bad game, you can see his frustration and then he is vulnerable. Lets hope he keeps it together eh CG?
